Therapy for Grief, Loss and Life Transitions
Life is hard, filled with loss and suffering. To be human is to know loss in many forms whether it's the death of a beloved person or pet, the end of a relationship, divorce, job loss, infidelity, life transitions or unfulfilled dreams. Some find it challenging to confront the magnitude of their sorrow while others may feel swallowed up by it, experiencing grief as a permanent resident in their hearts and souls. Grief has a way of shattering us, only to slowly piece us back together but leaving us forever changed. Sometimes it's necessary to seek a compassionate place to attend to our unexpressed sadness and stories of loss where we can find meaning and purpose.
I don’t believe grief is a problem to be solved but rather a deep encounter with what it means to be human. There is no clock that signals it’s time for grief to end. Our grief is a normal response to the painful losses in our lives and honoring our need to mourn these losses is what helps us to heal. I'm here to support you, create a safe space for you to work through your deep feelings of loss, and help you find new meaning and happiness in life.
